Eugene Book Review On Amazon

A number of reviews for ‘Eugene’ now appearing on Amazon, including this one from Elizabeth Miles:

” I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced and engrossing. Initially I did find the skipping to different time periods a little confusing but I did think it would make a cracking Sunday evening serial as it had it all – historical backdrop, forbidden love, greed, corruption, suicide, murder. The characters were well observed although the character of Eugene was a bit of an enigma. There was real warmth for the female characters Chit and Pearl. I didn’t quite understand Eugene and would have liked to know what he was thinking at a deeper level. The book does leave a lot of unanswered questions which hopefully will be resolved in a sequel.”
